The new Hewlett-Packard Company's warehouse located in Des Moines, IA will be built on a twenty-three acre site adjacent to a current HP industrial building in the Airport Business Park.
The new facility will be a high-cube warehouse that will have 25 loading docks and will feature energy-efficient fluorescent lighting fixtures throughout the building. The 300,000 SF building will be connected to the existing 410,000 SF distribution and warehouse through a one-story climate-controlled enclosure.
The connection of the two buildings will allow for a national consolidation of Hewlett-Packard's logistics operations to one central location. The project will also provide for the opportunity for a 75,000 SF expansion in the future.
